We are a Traditional British Pub that has been family run since

November 2018 by John, Vicky, Jess and our long established Team, that worked with us at another outlet for years and made the move with us.

Built in 1543 The George is over looked by Peveril Castle, just off the busy main through road, up Castle Street opposite the Church.

Beer Patio. It surely is the best place in Castleton to unwind and take in the amazing views the Peak District has in abundance.

We offer a wide and varied choice of Traditional Pub food from Pies to Freshly made Pizza's, all of which are locally sourced and freshly prepared and cooked by our team of fully trained chefs.

We also have Bed & Breakfast Accommodation consisting of Three rooms all with en-suite shower, TV, Mini Fridge (for your own supplies), Hot drink making facilities, Mineral Waters, and toiletries, finished

nicely with a fully cooked English Breakfast the following morning.

Front & Rear Seating in an abundance to enjoy your food & drinks

on the warmer days & Two traditional indoor rooms with Log burning stoves and great characteristics to enjoy when the colder weather arrives.

Having the PizzaBox out back ensures you can enjoy Stonebaked pizzas freshly prepared and also available to Take Away.
