We are a Traditional British Pub that has been family run since

November 2018 by John, Vicky, Jess and our long established Team that has worked with us at another outlet for years and moved with us.

Built in 1543 The George is over looked by Peveril Castle, just off the busy main through road up Castle Street opposite the church.

Beer Patio. It surely is the best place in Castleton to unwind and take in the amazing views the Peak District has in abundance.

We offer a wide and varied choice of Traditional Pub food from Pies to Freshly made Pizza's, all of which are locally sourced and freshly prepared and cooked by our team of fully trained chefs,

We also have Bed & Breakfast Accommodation consisting of Three rooms all with en-suite shower, TV, Mini Fridge for your own supplies, Hot drink making facilities, Mineral waters, and toiletries finished

nicely with a fully cooked English Breakfast the following morning.
